After MCT made a name for itself with the 3608 and 3616 handlers they launched the 4600 and 4610 handlers for SMD devices. The “E” and H models are for room and hot handling and the HC handler is capable of tri-temperature. The 46xx series handler features convertibility between a very large variety of device types as well as “soft” handling of devices to preserve package integrity. The second generation MCT 46xx series handler is called the 4610 series handler. Available in both single and dual site configurations this handler is basically just an improved version of the 4600 series.
