The first widely accepted Synax handler to be produced was the SX141 model handler. Drawing upon the knowledge of the Synax SX121 installed base the SX141 features faster change over time between kits, faster index time, smaller footprint, and increased reliability. Model SX141 handlers feature additional options such as tri-temperature capability, built in vision, and small size (5 x 5mm) device handling.
